Starkings Court Reporting, located in downtown Fayetteville, North Carolina, was founded in 1975 by Ron and Karen Starkings. Karen Starkings continued in her role as a Federal Court Reporter for several more years before devoting all her time to Starkings Court Reporting. Karen retired in 1999 and sold the business to Sandra Wise and Mike Starkings. Sandra was a long time employee of 16 years and senior reporter. Mike Starkings, son of Ron and Karen, grew up in the business of court reporting and learned the art of videography from his father and through hands-on experience. Together they continue the tradition of integrity and pride began so many years ago.
Through the years, we have been devoted to providing quality court reporting services as well as training new court reporters to become certified reporters through the National Voice Reporter Association. We cover not only depositions and hearings but municipality hearings, Grievance hearings, EUO's, transcribe court tapes and video court tapes, and provide other related transcription services.
We also provide video services for your depositions, are offering video conferencing services at our office. We have two conference rooms available, however only one video conference room.
Our staff has grown throughout the years as our services have expanded as well as our coverage area. We cover most of Southeastern North Carolina. See our map page for coverage areas.
